One of my greatest joys is spending time with our animals.  Cuddling with them, and getting tons of wet kisses is just a heart warming experience.  They are there for me no matter what and even cheer me up if I need it.  They keep me going and make me look forward to tomorrow.  I couldn't imagine a day without them.  There are many animals in the world that are abused, neglected, abandoned, and some that just need a new home for one reason or another.  Some people are forced to give their pets up.  Then there are the people that don't realize what it means to have a pet.  They don't understand that it is a commitment for life, that it can consume hours of their time, and that it costs money.  They don't understand that they will be paid back a hundred fold with love, kisses, companionship and much more.  I will never understand how people can neglect or abuse animals.  They are defenseless creatures who just want to be loved.  We have had our share of strays & fosters pass through our lives.  We were able to give them love, food, companionship, trust, or whatever else they needed.  Some lived their lives out here with us, others were placed in great, loving homes.
This page is dedicated to animals in need of good, loving homes.  Occasionally we will have an animal listed here in need of a home.  If you're interested and would like to apply for an adoption, you may find our contact information or email on our home page.  And please remember, i
f you know of any animal in jeopardy, abusive situations, etc., please call the local law enforcement center or humane society so that they can help the animal and try and stop the abuse.  Animals give us unconditional love so lets do what we can for them!

This is Noah.  He is a young male red dobe who needed a home.  His family loved him but they had to re-home him due to circumstances they couldn't help. Noah didn't even make it to our home before he was snatched up by his new owners.  Noah is currently living on a farm with his new family and he is loving life and his new friends Bruno and Miss Bailey.  The three run around the farm and enjoy their days together.  Noah also loves his new mom and dad a lot.  He gets to run around the farm with them and I have been told he thinks its "Disneyland".

This is Rookie. He is a 11 month old Doberman. He is such a sweetheart & an exceptional dog. In fact he was with us only a short time before he was snatched up by his new family. We didn't even have time to post him here for adoption. His adopted family consists of his new mom & dad, his new dobe sister, & couple of small doggie siblings. And of course there are grandkids who love to hang out & play with Rookie too. Rookie is very much loved and adored in his new home. He spends his days playing outside, hanging out with his dad in the garage, or lounging in the house with everyone. He also loves to go places with his mom. We are very happy for Rookie and his new family!

****Update****

Rookie is loving his new home and his new family couldn't be happier with him.  They can't say enough good things about Rookie.

*Murphy's Update*

Murphy has been with his new family for about a year now.  His personality & body are showing the changes that his new loving home has given him.  He is no longer the skinny boy we took in.  He has put on weight & is looking good.  He is confident now & it shows in his personality.  He looks happy & loves life.  He loves to spend his days playing with his new dobe sister.  They love to lay outside & chew on their tennis balls or romp around the yard & Murphy loves to make his dad chase him when its time to come in.  But his love for his family will be there to repay them for the rest of his life.  Murphy wouldn't let his mom outside one day when a strange man was parked by their house.  He let his sister bark & scare the guy off, but kept mom in the house.  His bond with his new family is just what he deserved.  We are so happy for Murhpy.  We will post further updated pics of Murphy & his sister on our "proud parents page".

Boots found her way to us extremely skinny & matted but still high in spirit.  We don't know where she came from but she was definitely lacking human care.  She was immediately offered food, water & shelter.  We quarantined Boots for a little while & then after a visit to the vet, we started our search for a home as loving as her.  She found that home with some friends of ours.  And shortly after she went to her new home, we all found out she was expecting babies.  Our friends chose to keep pregnant Boots who then became Purr-a-lot.  Purr-a-lot was named by her 4 yr old owner.  Purr-a-lot had 4 babies.  When the babies were old enough 1 went to live with another friend & the other 3 babies remain with Purr-a-lot & her new family.  They are all very happy in their new homes & very loved.  It is a happy ending for a stray mommy cat.
